RPT applicants’ review file folders are located on Google Drive and are organized by RPT cycle and Review category
- Reappointment
- Promotion to Full
- Promotion and Tenure
Both applicants and selected reviewers can add documents to a given applicant’s folder. Applicants can NOT view documents in the “External Reviews” folder nor any of the “recommendation” folders.

Applicant Folders
Applicants will have access to the following folders:
01 – AA-20 and AA-27
02 – Current Vita
03 – Self-Assessment
08 – Annual Reviews
10 – Other Materials
12 – Candidate Five-Year Plan
All applicants’ documents should be in PDF format using the following naming convention:
- Last Name – Current vita.pdf
- Last Name – Self-assessment.pdf
- Last Name – AA-20 and AA-27.pdf
- … etc
CLAS IT will send all applicants a course evaluations summary report. Applicants should upload these reports to the “10 – Other Materials” folder.
Applicants for Promotion to Associate Professor with Conferral of Tenure should upload their Reappointment memo from the Dean as part of their “08 Annual Reviews” folder.
When applicants have uploaded all of their documents, they should notify their Chair. Chairs should notify DRC that an applicant’s portfolio is ready for review.
Review Committee Folders
All reviewer documents should be in PDF format using the following naming convention:
- Last Name – Annual Reviews.pdf
- Last Name – External Reviews.pdf
- Last Name – DRC recommendation to Chair.pdf
- Last Name – Chair recommendation to Dean.pdf
- … etc
The DRC should upload the department’s criteria for reappointment or promotion as part of the DRC Recommendation folder, unless the DRC incorporates those criteria specifically as part of its recommendation.
When the DRC and the Chair have uploaded their recommendations, the Chair should notify the CRC that the applicant’s review file folder is ready for CRC review.
When the CRC has uploaded their recommendations, the CRC should notify the Dean that their letter is ready for the Dean’s review.
