Adding Meeting Agendas

  • Uploading Meeting Agenda to Google

  • Add link to Meeting Agenda Document

This page contains steps for adding meeting agenda documents to Google Docs and to this site.

It is recommended when working with Google Docs that you use one of the following browsers: Google Chrome  or Firefox

Uploading Meeting Agenda to Google

  1. google-upload-button01Go to the Google > CLAS Administration
  2. Go to the folder of the council or committee whose meeting agenda you want to upload
  3. Click on the “upload” button (to the right of the “Create” button) and chose Files…
  4. Browse to the meeting agenda file and click on the “Open” button
  5. When prompted, click on the “Upload and share” button
  6. google-upload-settings02When prompted for “Upload Settings” do the following:
    1. Do NOT check boxes to convert documents or convert text
    2. Check box to “Confirm settings before each upload”
  7. Click the “Start Upload” button

Get the URL/Web Address of Meeting Agenda Document

  1. Click on the meeting agenda file in Google Docs/Drive (should be at the top of the page)
  2. Get the web address (or url) of the file as follows:
    1. Click on the “Share” button
    2. Copy the Link to Share

Go to the CLAS Administration Site

  1. Go to the CLAS Pages > CLAS Administration site
  2. Click on the “Log On” link (upper right corner) and type in your NinerNET user name and password
  3. Click on College of Liberal Arts & Sciences” in the black “admin bar” at the top of the page

Add link to Meeting Agenda Document

  1. Go to the page for the council or committee that you want to add a new agenda to (e.g. Administrative Council)
  2. wordpress-edit01Click on the “Edit Page” link in the admin bar (see top of page)
  3. Put your cursor before date of last meeting and click on “Return” button your keyboard
  4. Put your cursor after new bullet above the last meeting date
  5. Type in new meeting date and select this text
  6. wp-link-toolClick on the “link” button (image of chain)
  7. Paste address of meeting agenda file that you copied from Google Docs/drive in step 8 above
  8. Click on the “Add Link” button
  9. Go to the page for the council or committee that you want to add a new agenda to (e.g. Administrative Council)
  10. Click on the “Update” button in the “Publish” sidebar
  11. Click on College of Liberal Arts & Sciences” in the admin bar to view you changes
